Dr. Meagan Aiken
Dr. Meagan Aiken (you may also see Vaphiadis attached to her name) is originally from Waynesville, Ohio. She attended the University of the Cumberlands for undergrad. She graduated from ETSU Quillen College of Medicine in 2013 and completed her pediatric residency at Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC. She has been practicing pediatrics since 2016. Pediatric Diagnostic Associates has been home since 2023. Dr. Aiken fell in love with PDA and Chattanooga after her first visit. PDA is like a family. Everyone looks after and helps when someone is in need.
She is married to her best friend, Nick. They have two kids, Gwen and Dax, along with 3 dogs. They moved to Chattanooga in December 2022, and love all it has to offer, including outdoor activities and the perks of city living. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family on Norris Lake, reading, and playing pickleball. They are thrilled to call Chattanooga home!
Dr. Aiken loves working with kids. Babies are adorable (let’s be honest, all kids are), toddlers are cute, school aged kids are funny, and teenagers have cool stories. Everyday is different interacting with kids of all ages. Kids always know how to brighten your day, even if they aren’t feeling the best. She loves knowing that she has contributed to keeping future generations healthy, so they can be awesome and continue to change the world. Dr. Aiken also practices with a team approach- the team being the patient, family and herself. Together, the best plan of care can be developed for each unique patient.

If you are looking for a great doctor and staff, look no further. Just to give you an idea of how wonderful this group is, we are just now leaving my daughter’s 5 year old check up and my 3 year old son is crying because he wants his turn with the doctor. Dr. Aiken and Katie, thank you for another great visit and for making the “Doctor experience” so enjoyable for our young kids 😊
Dr. Aiken is always friendly, professional, and caring. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make both parents and children feel comfortable. We are so thankful for the excellent care she provides for our daughter!
